Almost Time

 Time for final prep. The dog collars start to come out and the girls know it's almost game time. Final touches are being done. The guns come out from the safe and make their way downstairs. These dogs know that it's almost their favorite time of year. The house is abuzz with excitement in anticipation. You’d think it was almost Christmas in the house with the amount of turnover that happens in our home. Decoys start making their way into the house, waders and jackets make it out of storage. Blind bags start to get packed with essentials for the season. In our home we go from summer to fall in almost a day.
