Field Day

We don’t always work in the water though. I try and switch up when we are working in the field, I find I can get better focus from the girls when I’m not working to close to home. So I will sometimes take them to work in a neighbors field. Which is what we did on this day. The girls worked on using their sniffers which Roxy proved why she is the veteran of the group. The girls worked on being patient, marking multiple marks. For being young Piper did very well and Amelia well she’s not one of my personal dogs and is more of a part time duck dog which is why seeing her mistakes wasn’t as surprising to me. I’m really starting to get excited to see Piper and Roxy in action during duck season.
