Delware 2023

This years trip saw some new faces this year. With Piper being so little she didn’t join. Our three days always started off early in the morning trying to get into some ducks. We saw lots of ducks this year but were unable to pull the numbers like we did last years hunt. Though we were excited to get to walk on the beach this year, which Roxy enjoyed smelling around, and seeing all of the dead horse shoe crabs. We also added what we referred to as “girls day” this year. Which myself, Roxy, our friend Megan, and we had our “guide” (friend) with us. Which was probably one of our favorite days of the trip. We also during our time there did see some tundra swans, and we even had the permits to take them, but they were just to far out of reach.  Just watching these birds and seeing how and again experiencing hunting in a different state for us was just as much fun, and the good company also helps.
