Almost time to call it a season.

Well the girls are officially in a resting point, as we wrapped up the season here in Maine for us personally anyway we switched out shotguns for deer rifles. I personally didn’t get a deer, but my husband did. The girls just work on some basics to maintain their skills until Roxy and company will leave for our trip to Delaware this year in which we hope to try and kill some swans if we’re lucky, but I guess we will have to see how things go. I think Roxy is ready for a break after all the hard work she’s put in this season, but one last push still before we completely call it a season for the winter, and then start picking up training for the new pup as well as refreshing Roxy, and getting used to hunting with another dog.
