Day 3 of 3 of the annual Hunt in Maine

Well after two very hard days of hunting we decided to call it a trip. It was raining hard that morning and we were all very tired, from being up early and going to bed late. We decided to sleep in and call it a hunt. Our friend left and we all saw him off and would see him down in Delaware in January. My husband and I after it had stopped raining did go for a walk behind our house and I shot a partridge. Which was for me was just as fun and relaxing. Roxy was able to rest up from hunting and working hard for two days which does take a lot out of her. I’m glad we were able to get these day of hunting in with our friends and is a good time to swap stories and just see an amazing dog do a good job.
