Day 2 of 3 of the annual Hunt in Maine

 

Day two was a more difficult day for us it required us to sit in the rain all day. It luckily wasn’t a down poor, but it was a drizzle all day which left us all feeling a bit damp. Though the best duck days are indeed the worst weather days. We hunted with a full crew this day, and I’ll have to just add that us girls did a good job. A black duck came in my girlfriend shot it first, and I followed up with a follow up shot, had to have been one of my favorite moments. Roxy of course managed to retrieve the duck, and it ended up being a nice black duck as well. Another fun moment of the day was watching my friend get a shot off at a duck and fall over backward on her stool, unfortunately she didn’t get the duck. We walked away with four ducks in all not our biggest numbers day, but a lot of good memories, and a lot of good laughs.
