Since we are still in winter here in northern Maine, thought it would be nice to give an update on how things are. This is Roxy's off season right now, just time to play and get some exercise. She enjoys going snowshoeing with the family, though a nice packed trail is her favorite. I do tend to keep an eye on her paws as she is prone to having her pads on her rear leg crack, which means she wears her boots for the rest of the winter. She loves to play in the snow though, and play with her friends. She does a little retrieve work in the winter but not much, we mostly focus on staying in shape and not keeping her from getting to board. We have learned that Roxy does not do well when we go skiing though do to stopping in the middle of the trail, and getting run over, so she doesn't do that anymore, but she's enjoying winter to the best she can.
