PTSD

Another thing that happened to Roxy within her first few days home, was she fell asleep on her bed while I was watching some T.V. all of a sudden she wakes up looks where her leg was and screams, she gets up and walked over to me. I petted her to reassure her that she was ok. That was the first time that I had ever seen her do that, and this wouldn’t be the last time we saw this happen either. She has moments where this happens every now and again, and I forget sometimes about it, but it amazes me that she does remember and have moments like these in her life like any other human would. Though it also amazes me that Roxy and humans are not that different in that if this happened to a person, they would have moments like that too.
