Love of Water

        

              

Once Roxy, had a taste of the water she loved it. She was a typical lab saw some water and wanted in, even to the point that she would get in the shower with you, and we had to kick her out. She was swimming once or twice a week, in the river, in a pond, in a lake, where ever we could take her to. She just wanted to jump in and her dummy and bring it back. She almost lost it once in the river, but after walking and throwing many rocks she finally got it and brought it back. This dog was made for the water, and heaven forbid you didn't let her go in. Her swimming style improved she wasn't much of a splashier anymore though you would see her swimming really hard her whole body wiggled just because she wanted to get there so fast. She would even run and jump off of a dock, with no hesitation, she loved being in the water.
