Dog Boots and friends

In Roxy's journy outside, and starting to go on more walks or for me snowshoeing, that her pads of her paws didn't hold up well. I used a moisture balb on them but that didn't seem to help as her paw would still bleed some after going for a walk, and keeping a dog who wasn't a year inside for a period of time wasn't really an option. We also couldn't really afford for her to injure one of her paws as well she only had three left. So we decided to look into doggie boots for her. I picked out two different kinds. She didn't care for them the first couple of times but after that, she knew if we brought them out she was going out for a walk and really got to enjoy them.

Roxy was also feeling good enough that she could play with my cousions dog Zora, who was just a month or two older then her. We only had to break them up a couple of times, when there playing got out of hand and Roxy needed a bit of help, but they did well. and it was a great way for her to get some energy out. Roxy has always enjoyed playing with other dogs, she even had helped Zora learn to swim. She was getting back to her normal self which for us was great to seee.
