Learning manners

We knew from the very beginning that we would make sure Roxy was socialized with other dogs, we wanted her to be friendly, and not be nervous. My childhood dog who lived with my parents whose name was Shadow, helped Roxy learn a lot of things. Shadow made sure Roxy learned enough was enough, Shadow was a lot older, she was almost 16 years old. Though Roxy respected her and learned what was ok and what wasn't. We lost shadow this past summer, it was her time she lived a long and full life, and was able to teach Roxy, how to be around other dogs, and respect dogs older then her, but playtime did have a time and a place.
I know this post was short but it helped Roxy so much: Tripawmama

  1. Sorry for your loss of Shadow! Having an older dog does help whip young dogs into shape.
